A. No. Vontoo can only be used with calling lists where end-users have given you permission to contact them. Purchased/Rented lists are not acceptable.

Q. How does Vontoo's open API work?
A. Vontoo provides the ability for third parties to integrate voice messaging into their own applications. These integration scenarios may include both internal line of business systems or external customer facing systems and are made possible through the use of standards-based web services technology. Web services technology makes it possible for geographically distributed systems to "speak" to each over the Internet using an XML syntax (Simple Object Access Protocol - SOAP). Because all of today's major development platforms are SOAP-capable, it is possible to use web services to integrate systems regardless of the technology platform used.

A. The web services API is primarily targeted for use by organizations seeking to add voice messaging to their existing systems.
