Vontoo opens the doors to its virtual university, a new place for client education

Online site to offer various means for user assistance in call scripting, opt-in, FTC regulation compliance, best practice education and more

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – December 1, 2009 – Vontoo, Inc., leading voice marketing company, announced today the release of Vontoo University, an online resource and education site designed to support best-practices, educate customers on FTC compliance with regard to voice and text-messaging, provide 24/7 access to sample scripts and real applications, offer account assistance and more.

The new site, VontooU.com is available to all Vontoo Professional customers and is accessed through an assigned login name and password. In addition to the previously mentioned features, Vontoo U will provide customers with access to white papers and presentations, client FAQs, information on building opt-in lists and detailed instructions on using all features of the Vontoo application.

Given the importance of understanding and remaining compliant with voice messaging regulations such as the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), Vontoo U provides critical information for clients. The site’s resource center includes information such as when it is necessary to include an opt-out message at the beginning of a call, which types of marketers are exempt from the legislation and when it is still desirable to include an opt-out measure in a message even though it may not be mandatory. Clients can also learn about tactics for list-building through customer opt-ins.
