Vontoo, Inc., leading voice marketing company, announced today that the WBNA’s Indiana Fever, in conjunction with Carmel and MediaSauce, has produced a campaign for fans using the company’s interactive video product, Vontoo V2 (Voice + Video). Enabling the the Fever to engage its fans – while also collecting a permission-based database of users open to receiving future communications.

In its video campaign with MediaSauce and Vontoo, the Fever produced a video that depicts the team during a dramatic half time speech. The coach and players talk about needing a sixth man to step up (which refers to the fan watching the video). Mid-way through the video, the viewer receives a phone call which appears to come from one of the on-screen Fever players. While listening to the player’s recorded message on his/her phone, the fan continues to watch the video play out on the computer screen. Vontoo’s V2 (Voice + Video) offering not only allows the Fever to offer a treat to its fans, but it is an effective means of obtaining fan opt-in for future communications, which can be a valuable tool for marketing and communication efforts.
